An independent UK reference for the modern home energy stack. Solar, batteries, EV charging and heat pumps.
Most home-energy content in the UK is either a sales funnel for a specific installer, or thin SEO content written to rank rather than inform. Energy Stack exists to be the resource we wished we had read first.
Editorial independence
We do not take affiliate commissions. We do not have a referral programme. We do not accept sponsorship in exchange for placement in our recommendations. We are funded as a personal project, and if that ever changes we will disclose it clearly here.
Show your working
Calculator outputs and recommendations explain the reasoning, not just the conclusion. Our tools never round numbers for marketing reasons.
Wrong out loud
We change our mind in public when the evidence moves. Recommendations come with a date and a version history.
